There are daily ferry services to the Scilly Isles from Penzance, flights from nearby Lands End airport or daily Helicopter flights from Penzance Heliport. The farm has far reaching views to the majestic St Michael’s Mount and Mounts Bay with distant views towards the Lizard Peninsula and beyond.
The Long Barn is set within 13 acres of pastureland and is surrounded by natural Cornish hedges, supporting a variety of wildlife and wildflowers. The area attracts bird watchers and wildlife enthusiasts with the marshes at nearby Marazion and the Hayle Estuary. Take the scenic coastal train from nearby St Erth into St Ives, passing the Hayle Estuary and the beautiful coastline and beaches. There are also numerous National Trust gardens, art galleries, museums, endless stunning coastal paths, beautiful countryside, and stunning beaches within easy reach. The Long Barn is a traditional converted barn that is believed to be more than 200 years old, and built around a garden courtyard, there is also an enclosed garden with BBQ area and seating and your very own patio area, perfect for unwinding after a busy day exploring west Cornwall.

Self Catering Holiday Cottage, West Cornwall – “The Piggery”
The Piggery is a one bedroom single storey detached granite cottage consisting of split level accommodation that sleeps 2 +1 people. It is comfortable, home from home with wood beams and amazing sea views.
The property consist of an open plan kitchen/lounge with sofa bed, one double bedroom and a shower room
The cottage has one double bed, and a sofa bed in the lounge area. The kitchen includes an electric oven and hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge/freezer.
The lounge area has an HD LCD Freeview Television with Built in DVD and CD player.
A traditional stable door leads onto a lawn area and additional seating and BBQ for those alfresco evenings.
The cottage has amazing views from the picture window overlooking farm towards Mounts bay and St Michael’s mount.
We include all towels and linen with the booking and these are changed weekly.
We welcome well behaved small dogs – at an additional charge to cover cleaning costs – and at our discretion. Please contact us prior to booking.

I never write reviews but felt this cottage was well worth the effort. We had a very relaxing, chilled out stay at Green Pig Farm. The views were fantastic, the location perfect and the barn stunning. I can’t recommend it enough. We would love to return again and sit in the tea room garden eating gorgeous homemade scones whilst enjoying the sunshine after a demanding uphill bike ride. Thank you to Neil and Stephen for being so welcoming, the barn is a delight.

Stayed at ‘the Piggery’ for one week in August and had a fantastic time. The two owners Stephen and Neil are great hosts who will do everything to make sure you have a fab time. The cottage has everything you could possibly want and is finished to a very high standard. We especially enjoyed the fresh flowers as well as milk and wine in the fridge when we arrived.
The view from the cottage is like something off a post card, it’s just superb. There isn’t much better than waking up to a beautiful view of St Michaels Mount or even looking out at night when it’s lit up.
The cottage is also perfectly located between Penzance and St Ives, so getting around is very easy, something that made the holiday even better.
We would also HIGHLY recommend the cream teas that are served at the farm, they are amazing! Thank you very much for a wonderful week!

Absolutely lovely barn conversion, immaculate and couldn’t fault it. Set in peaceful countryside but close to beaches and town with tea room on site that served best cream teas ever!!!! And view of St Michaels Mount. The owners are very helpful, there if you need anything and provided lots of information about where to go and what to do. Had the best holiday here, have already recommended to people and will definitely be back.

The location of Green Pig Farm gives you great access to all West Cornwall has to offer, from the Lands End Peninsular and Sennen Cove to the breath taking Minack theatre at Porthcurnoe. Penzance being the gate way to the Scillies and a good starting point for spectacular cliff top walks. Other local attractions include coarse fishing, boat trips and glorious beaches.

We recently stayed a fortnight at this lovely site, it was our second visit and both times we had a great holiday. The owners are friendly and helpful and work hard to keep the site immaculate.We had a really good time and didn’t want to leave. The timetable for the handy bus service is another thoughtful touch from the owners. We can vouch for the tasty cream teas and the views down to St Michael’s Mount are stunning. Thanks for the memories.

Very welcoming and accommodating hosts, nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel special The facilities were excellent as described on the website, very clean and tidy. There is a 14th century pub 35 mins walk away which serves good food and ale 😊 Outside of the site is a bus stop which takes you to Penzance in one direction, and St Ives the other with onward rail connections from either readily available. This is a fabulous CL with magnificent views of St Michaels Mount and the English Channel with the most lovely hosts. A perfect location to both relax and also to explore the rest of Cornwall. We were very pleased and couldn’t recommend it more highly, and will be returning again.

This site has everything you could ask for. The view of St. Michael mount is breathtaking. The site is so clean and tidy and the pitches are very generous. It is so convenient for lots of coves, beaches and lovely gardens.Neil and Steven are great hosts, the cream teas are the best we have ever had. Just spent two weeks there and will definitely return. Thank you for a memorable holiday.
