Green Pig Farm is the owners’ family run farm, located on the beautiful and wild peninsula of west Cornwall, midway between the iconic and vibrant St Ives, 4 miles away, on the north coast, and the old market town of Penzance, 3 miles towards the west. There are daily ferry services to the Scilly Isles from Penzance, flights from nearby Lands End airport or daily Helicopter flights from Penzance Heliport. The farm has far reaching views to the majestic St Michael’s Mount and Mounts Bay with distant views towards the Lizard Peninsula and beyond.
The Long Barn is set within 13 acres of pastureland and is surrounded by natural Cornish hedges, supporting a variety of wildlife and wildflowers. The area attracts bird watchers and wildlife enthusiasts with the marshes at nearby Marazion and the Hayle Estuary. Take the scenic coastal train from nearby St Erth into St Ives, passing the Hayle Estuary and the beautiful coastline and beaches. There are also numerous National Trust gardens, art galleries, museums, endless stunning coastal paths, beautiful countryside, and stunning beaches within easy reach. The Long Barn is a traditional converted barn that is believed to be more than 200 years old, and built around a garden courtyard, there is also an enclosed garden with BBQ area and seating and your very own patio area, perfect for unwinding after a busy day exploring west Cornwall.
